For our headquarter in Berlin we are currently looking for a

Technical Consultant (m/f)

Deploy and launch cutting-edge mobile TV broadcasting technology in international telecommunication projects. With your experience of challenging projects, you’ll expand our consulting team and deliver tailor-made solutions to our key accounts in highly available infrastructures. You’ll also contribute to the integration of next-generation broadcasting and streaming systems and work with our partners to create the mobile services of tomorrow.

With a broad-based knowledge of networking and telecommunication technologies your role as technical consultant spans all aspects of successful project delivery: requirements specification, architectural design, integration, testing, maintenance, documentation and training. You have experience with complex and distributed software architectures, offering excellent technical skills and being a self-starter and team player in new teams and projects.

You fulfill this broad spectrum of demanding responsibilities with the following skills:

• A higher-education degree (university, technical college), preferably in information technology
• In-depth hands-on knowledge of internet technologies (Java, JSP, HTML, XML, UML, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Linux, security, encryption, SQL databases, TCP/IP networks)
• Professional experience in a comparable position is desirable
• Broadcasting and DVB-H industry knowledge will be a plus
• Flexibility and readiness to periodic travels
• Social skills: self-starter, team player, committed, determined, communicative
• Good English language skills
• Capacity for abstract thought, willingness to learn, organizational abilities
