DVB-H Jamaica

In December 2010, castLabs provided its Video Service Delivery Platform to the nationwide Mobile TV headend in Jamaica. The system features 10 domestic and international TV channels plus digital radio in DVB-H technology.

The headend, operated by LIME, a Cable & Wireless company, is equipped with the castLabs mobile TV components, which provide ESG management, offer management and the conditional access system in a carrier grade high availability environment.

The Jamaican DVB-H system is the first Mobile TV project that took up operations in the Caribbean.
